EURO - Reformation Quiz Study Guide

The quiz on the Reformation is going to be the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Here's what you should study:

Reading/Notes/Classwork
1. Ch. 17.3, 17.4
2. Reformation Webquest
3. Martin Luther Video notes (if you were absent for part of this movie, please get the notes from someone reliable)
4. Cause/Effect of the Reformation chart

Guiding Questions
What were the main causes and consequences of the Reformation?
Who was Martin Luther, and what was his role in the Reformation?
Who else played a role in the Reformation?
Who were the people who started the "second wave" of the Reformation?
What do various sects of Protestantism believe?
What was the Counter Reformation?
What form did the Reformation take in different parts of Europe?

Hey, question,

would you get docked points on your citations if you couldn't find the copyright year or the owner for one of your sites?

It's a site from the list on your blog for the PIRATES chart you gave us. The last site on the list. I can't find either of them.

Re: Citation year...

If you can't find a copyright year, assume that it was copyrighted this year, and use 2007 as a default.

do you have any examples of 'A+' projects? I'm having a tough time comming up w/ ideas that you'd consider A+ work =/

The example I linked to from the post a few days ago is an A+ example (http://issyhistory.shea.googlepages.com/sampleessayoutline).

You can also refer to the draft Rubric I handed out last week that explains how I'll be grading you. The point values have changed, but the requirements haven't.

i was confsued abotu that too, but if you look at the post from the other day she totally said we had to have annotations on our outlines.

just read back through the rest of the posts, you'll see it
