EURO - Napoleon DBQ Feedback

Hey Euro Studies Students!

I hope you're all enjoying your break...

I just wanted to let you know that I've given feedback on your preliminary outlines on turnitin.com. You should have a score out of 10 points for *completion* of the assignment, not for quality of your work.

The essay folder is open, so submit it at any time. It is due at 4pm on Monday, no excuses. Just pretend like you have to print it out and turn it in to me in class - so turn in the digital copy the night before, if you can!

A few notes on the DBQ:
I've noticed a LOT of people making assumptions in their arguments. Just because a document shows Napoleon as being heroic, for example, doesn't mean that he was acutally seen as heroic. Make sure you know WHO WROTE THE DOCUMENT - the point of view has a huge impact on what the evidence can prove.

Also please go over the DBQ checklist in your packet before you turn your paper in. I will not be lenient about spelling, grammar, formatting, etc., and I will expect that you will all turn in your highest quality work.

If you have questions, post to the blog or email me, and otherwise, enjoy your break!

I'm off to play in the snow...

~ Ms. Shea

Friday, February 15, 2008

The Answer to the "Why is this person revolutionary" needs to be in complete sentences.

Your cube should be no bigger than 3 or 4 inches (cubed).
