HOMEWORK
for Monday
Cube Assignment due! Please carefully read your handout to be sure you're doing the assignment correctly.
Some suggestions for your cube:
The Accomplishments side should have a bit more text than the profession side (which can be one or two words) or the Background side (which should include, at minimum, country of origin, dates of life, perhaps a university/education). The Answer to the "Why is this person revolutionary" needs to be in complete sentences.
Your cube should be no bigger than 3 or 4 inches (cubed).

Hey Ms. Shea this is Kevin Moon from second period. Well I'm wondering if I could get some suggestions for my cube project, I am having a hard time figuring out how my person (Ludwig Van Beethoven) is revolutionary?
Think about how he changed music. How is it different from what came before? He made some radical steps forward and created some new forms of ochestral music, if I recall. Think about why I would include him in the list of revolutionaries - how does his music reflect the changes in thought that are sweeping Europe in the 1700's?
If all else fails, Google is your friend. Try this article:

Always be aware of bias, however, and don't necessarily take things at face value - read several sources to be sure you have accurate information.
Good luck!
Thank you so much Ms. Shea I have a better understanding now!
