2. Alliance Drawing:
TASK: Create a pictorial diagram representing the Alliance system in Europe prior to WWI.
- Label each alliance group (Triple Alliance & Triple Entente).
- Draw a representation of each country and include the country names. You can use any kind of image to represent the various countries; don’t feel obliged to use flags or country shapes. Creativity and neatness all count.
- Include a statement (speech bubble) reflecting the motivation or goal for each of the members for joining the alliance.
- Include off to the side the Ottoman Empire and explain why they join the Central Powers in 1914
- Include a separate speech bubble for Italy explaining why they will switch sides in 1914
