Ms. Shea is out sick!

Sorry to folks who wanted to make up tests this morning, I'll make time for you guys at lunch this week.

Euro Studies, you guys are watching "Red Flag" about communism - take notes so you can answer the discussion questions I passed out yesterday.

US History, you will start Flags of our Fathers today. There's a note sheet that, since there is a sub, is no longer optional, but will definitely help you on the timed write.

Drop a comment here if you have any questions.

~ Ms. Shea

Ms. Shea's out sick!

Sorry I'm out sick today, gang!

EURO
Today you should have completed your Propaganda posters. I will stamp the RG on Wednesday.

US
You should have taken the Ch 21 quiz and worked on your packet. If you need/want more time in class we can use tomorrow, or we can just start watching the movie. Up to you guys (depending on how well-behaved you were for the sub, of course). Note that I moved the cube's due-date back until Friday.

EVERYONE
Don't forget that your outside reading summary is due on Thursday at midnight! Because of that, I'll be collecting your notecards on FRIDAY so you can have them to work on your paper Thursday night. The TII folder is now open for anyone who's ready to turn in their paper.

Re: the format, please see the description page. The idea is that there are 5 topics to cover, and you can do it easily in paragraph form, or try to make a paper out of it. Don't try to make a 5 paragraph essay (or 7, in this case). I'm really looking for thoughtfulness in tackling each main point, and that you've integrated qu0tes drawn from throughout the book.

[EDIT] I've put up some examples of how to structure your paper on the description page, so check them out if you're still confused.
