EURO - Just a reminder...

Please cite your facts using correct format (refer to the handout). If you are using direct quotes, please make sure you put them in quotations marks and include the citation. Un-cited facts or direct quotes not marked as such are equal to plagiarism.

Use the example here as a reference if you're still confused. It's about what your outline should look like in terms of format.

Also, please remember that Wikipedia is not a reliable source, should never be cited in-text, and should not be part of of your bibliography.

Hey Ms. Shea-
Just a quick question about citations.
For in text citations, I have a letter after each fact that corresponds with my works cited page for each source that I used.
Is this ok? Or do I need to have the actual name or page number in my in text citation, not just a letter that corresponds to the list of sources that I have? Sorry if this is kind of confusing... Haha.

You want your facts to look something like:

Henry VIII eventually ate himself to death, and it is rumored he weighed over 400 pounds when he died and couldn't fit into his coffin (Smith 43).

That shows that I got this fact from Smith's book on page 43, and when you look at my works cited, you'd see the formal full citation.

Save questions on the Creative Project for tomorrow.

You have until 10pm tomorrow night (Monday night) to turn in the project, and tomorrow in class is a work day.
